Advance Woodworking is designed to implement the more advanced woodworking skills. Advanced skills will be used to construct high quality furniture and cabinetry with various processes and joinery applied in the furniture industry. Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) router project design and its applications, joinery and the use of most conventional woodworking tools and machines will be emphasized. From these application processes, students will produce projects that meet the required criteria. Students will be expected to make a plan of procedure and bill of materials for each project constructed. Students will also be expected to pay for any cost incurred during the project building process. The course may be repeated for credit. Qualifies for Articulation with OTC –juniors and seniors
